Erasmus 30

The Erasmus Mobility Program is organized on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Erasmus Mobility Program in the Líceum building in cooperation with the Center for International Relations of the University of Eszterházy Károly University, in cooperation with the Heves County Europe Direct Information Center and the Heves County Self-Government. At the event, Erasmus+ students from Károly Róbert Campus from Gyöngyös were also participated in the event.

Following the welcoming words of the Rector of the University, the special guest of the event, the Rector of Iran Semnan University, briefly presented his institution.

Dr. Gábor Zupkó, Head of the European Commission Representation in Hungary, and Judit Hermandy-Berencz, Deputy Director-General of Tempus Public Foundation, gave a lecture on the successes and achievements of the past 30 years.

Then Reka Tóth-Dolenszky, Institutional Mobility Coordinator introduced the present in the joint 15-year history of EKE and Erasmus.Following the lectures, Róbert Szabó, Chairman of the Heves County Assembly invited the participants to a slice of Erasmus birthday cake.

The program continued from the 12 pm with the Mobility Café event where the staff of the NKK and the Tempus Public Foundation presented the Erasmus and Campus Mundi scholarship programs and then Erasmus scholarship students shared their experiences with the interested ones.

The day was closed by a lecture by Colin Swatridge, a British lecturer with a 1.5 hour lecture, who shared his impressions about the characteristics of Hungarian culture with his latest release, "The Country of Full of Aliens", thanks to the humorous performance and extraordinary personality, the students returned home with a positive experience.
