Caring for the relationships between partner intitutions, exchange of best practices, presentations of international life at Eszterházy Károly University. These were the most important targets of the organizers of the International Week. The university has 200 partner institutions in Europe, America, Asia and Africa.

Internationalization at Home was the main topic of International Week, organized by Esztárházy Károly University. More than 70 guests arrived to the event from all over the world. Taylerné Tóth Katalin, the head of the Centre for International Relations of Eszterházy Károly Univerity said, the participants of these type of events could exchange ideas, learn from each others best practices, strengthen the relationships between partner institutions and build new ones too. It also helps internationalize curriculums.

Dr. Liptai Kálmán highlighted: one of the most important targets of Eszterházy Károly Univerity, to gain greater international recognition for the institution. Actually more than 200 foreign students study on one of the 4 campuses. „We have two targets during every application period. We would like to be more popular among Hungarian and foreign students. I'm very happy, because more and more students are graduating from our university" – said the rector of Eszterházy Károly University.

During the opening lectures the presenters talked about several types of scolarship programmes that can help students of Eszterházy Károly University to study a semester or a full training abroad. Thanks to international partnerships, teachers and colleagues of the university can gain experience and study languages abroad. Thanks to the foreign students, those students too can experience the international environment, who do not want to leave the country for their studies.
